The Centre Core of Belfast
If you are looking for modern, vibrant, and alive with just a touch of urban grit and grime in the surroundings, the location and vibe of Maldron City Hotel Belfast, could literally not be any more well placed than this building. It is right in the heart of dining and entertainment that Belfast currently has to offer, with the obligatory history suffused in the adjacent properties and haunts of the old. The hotel and rooms are certainly utilitarian, and could use some refresh of the details and design, even though the furnishings are cozy and functional, and the venture fairly new. Many amenities and comforts that could take things to the next level are within reach, but would require some effort by the hotel leadership to simply put themselves in the shoes of the guests who are visiting. Overall, I enjoyed staying here more than anything for the mere location, which becomes instantly obvious as paramount to the access to adjacent activities; also, this hotel does rather well in promoting the nearby business offerings, without being overwhelming, such as walls of brochures that might be found in more touristy settings. Lastly, if you don't mind a little bit of noise and a party like atmosphere fairly late into the night, Maldron City is well worth a stay as a unbeatably central hub for deeper exploration into numerous exciting historic and modern offerings of Greater Belfast and Northern Ireland proper.
