The surrounding area is under construction. Homeless beggars are prevalent. Train tracks and the associated noise is a mild distraction. Rooms nice, beds comfortable, shower awesome.....biggest issue was breakfast - could not serve yourself, one service person issuiing bags with limited selection, long line - gave up and went elsewhere...

The service from the young lady at the front desk was awesome. I was upset that I booked a ocean view and I got a view of bla building. If I would’ve known I wasn’t going to get what was requested I would’ve definitely booked a less expensive room.. The bed kept sliding when we would try to lay down as well which was uncomfortable to sleep

When we checked in our room smelled of smoke. I called the front desk and they said they would send security up. No one showed up. I come to find out they sent them to check the floor furor smoke not my room. The people above us were extremely loud even at 2am. I asked for clean towels and was instructed to leave the dirties outside my door and they would replace them. They took the dirties and never replaced with clean towels. I expressed all this to the front desk at check out and all they did was say oh well I can take $50 off your bill. $50 for a smoke smelled room, noise at all hours and spotty service. Won't be staying there again

The WORST
No A/C. Gave me a box fan, blew hot air until I just opened the balcony door for some cooler air. Parking was the worst, especially having to pay $30/night. Got threatened but a visitor of a guest to key the rental I was in because he said I took his parking. There were a few homeless people in front of the hotel most of the night but they didn’t bother me, and the room I booked online it was supposed to be with a view but instead my view was the center of a tree where you could not see anything but the tree and down at the homeless. Smh. I informed the hotel of the room I booked online but was told that they didn’t know why third party websites put views because there weren’t many views

Terrible stay at Hampton Inn & Suites
The was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When I got there the hotel was nothing like it showed online. The service was terrible and the experience was horrible. I paid for parking and there wasn’t even enough parking spaces. Their excuse was that they didn’t expect as many cars from their guests. The cleanliness was bad. The customer service was horrible, they didn’t take care of us. It said it came with free breakfast and we never got breakfast one day I was there. We never got fresh new towels after cleaning. Overall terrible experience.

Didn’t even check in. Parking lot was full of homeless people and it was late. Didn’t feel safe. Cost me a nights stay to go find a safer place to check in. Nuts.
