Placencia Villas

Great location and perfect for what we needed. They also had bikes and paddle boards for the guests to use. My only two complaints was there was no room in the parking lot for our car the first night so we had to park on the street. The other one is that the shower drain was clogged. They said they would fix it for our second day but it ended up being worse after.

Great place to stay

We had a great time in Placencia Villas. The room is small but well equipped. The front desk let us check in ourselves, and they have parking. The hotel is centrally located too. The only problem was that it was super difficult to find their parking lot if you use Google map. You cannot enter from the front and there wasn't any sign saying Placencia Villas, come this way!

We really enjoyed our stay at Placencia Villas. We used their bicycles to bike up the peninsula. We used the paddle boards for a sunset dip. We used the hammock for lounging. The little kitchen was super helpful. The TV was great for when the weather was not great. We went Scuba Diving with Go Sea Tours, which was a 5minute walk from Placencia Villas. The location is really great. Right behind Rumfish y Vino. The A/C and extra fan worked great for keeping the room cool. We were told the tap water was safe to drink in Placencia, so we drank it all week and we were fine. The bed was the only thing that could be improved. It was a very firm mattress. Everything was clean though, so we really liked our stay here. I recommend others stay at Placencia Villas.

Relaxing environment, great amenities, wonderful host!

The location was perfect, nestled right in the center of the village. Well kept, quiet, and super cute! The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Spent 4 days at Placencia Villas. Perfect location for getting to know the village. Room has fridge, stove, microwave and some dishes and utensils. Donut lady came by each morning with fresh donuts on her head. Fruit stand across the street with amazing fruit. Only negative is isn't beach front, but there is easy access and it's only a two minute walk.

The location was great. Check in was easy and fast. We had a car and parking was available and convenient. We actually didn’t have to drive anywhere because everything was within walking distance. Sargassum is a problem on the beach but not even close to San Pedro’s problem

Great Location in center of town. Wonderful people who run it. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing time close to the action

All the rooms faced an inner court yard. Was very pleasantly each room coming with its own hammock. Some of the best Wi-Fi we experienced on our 17 day trip. Could affordable laundry services and had plenty of excursion companies, eateries, and gift shops close by. Villas we located off the street down a small driveway which was nice because there was less noise than some other places. And only a walk through the back to reach an amazing gelato parlor. Overall very happy and enjoyable experience.
