Eric, Didier, Ahmed and all the staff at the Riad were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely every morning on the sun terrace by the pool. We had dinner at the Riad one night it was amazing. Be sure to book your transfer from the airport direct with the Riad. It makes the process very simple. The Riad is only 10 mins walk to the main square. It was a very safe walk and we were given great recommendations by staff. Le Foundouk restaurant nearby was lovely. We booked the salt mine excursion to the Atlas Mountains through the Riad. A great day was had with our guides including a delicious lunch included. Thank you for making our stay such a good experience and for all your great advice. Best wishes Natalie and Peter

Just wonderful
Wonderful stay, made to feel really welcome. The staff, like the Moroccan people, we're very welcoming, warm and generous with their attention. The riad is right in the heart of the Medina, but is an oasis of calm and tranquility. The whole place has been created to a very high standard. We loved our stay at Riad Houdou.

The property has lots of character and very quirky the dining room and common area was cold and not comfortable but heaters in the room was a good thing If choosing this location be prepared for 20 min walks to find where you can drink any alcohol we were told about the alcohol restriction in the welcome e mail but not the Expedia description when we made the booking Can not fault the staff for being welcoming and helpful Not clear in the description but they only accepted cash for extras which could have been a problem just a couple of points that could help future guests .
