A wonderful stay - 8 days. Quiet, safe location. Two great restaurants nearby - Il Idilijo, and Medeiteraneo. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly - you feel like you are visiting a family - a large family. The breakfasts are generous to teir ability within the Cuban food supply. Some days no butter, some days no cheese, or bananas. Always delicious eggs for breakfast - scrambled or fried. Clean room, good beds, excellent housekeeping. While there, the Reception and common area was moved from the 11th floor to the 5th floor, losing a bit of ocean view compared to the 11th. The furnishings in all common areas is Cuban antiques - delightful touch. Staff will order a taxi for you, make restaurant recommendations. Can you tell we loved our stay?

Had a wonderful three night stay at Casavana. The hotel consists of the 4th,5th and 11th floor of an apartment building. The staff are extremely helpful and have good English skills. The reception is open 24 hours as is the bar service. The drinks are cheap too. Danni, Anna and Roxanne were the Managers when we stayed and they're all very professional but also down to earth. There is and ATM about 5 minutes walk away which takes Mastercard and Visa. The hotel also converts US dollars at the best rate you'll find in Cuba. Overall a nice, simple and clean place to stay. Oh also there is wifi!! A rarity in Cuba.
