Worth the money
The hotel was beautiful and kept in good conidition. The bar wasn't working when I was there but it is so close to all the shops and restaurants you don't need it. Overall I had a good stay and it is well priced

The Hotel was okay, the staff very nice and helpful. However, the hotel made a lot of mistakes with our accomodations. We had a total of 6 rooms and they gave us 2 very small rooms that we had not pay for. 1 of the rooms the shower didn't work and another room got flooded when it rained 1 day and they couldn't fix it or change to another room. It was definitely missing some organization. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.

Beautiful hotel, some minor issues
This was probably one of our nicest hotels on our trip. The facilities were great, there are 3 pools (2 small ones on the roof) and lots of places to hang out in or out of the sun. It's right in the centre of the walled city so you can't get more central. The air conditioning was the biggest necessity because Cartagena is hot all day and night. Breakfast was great and free bikes to use. The room was beautiful, but lacking a bit of TLC... there was a stain on the duvet, the bathroom didn't lock, the canopy sheet was very wrinkled, and there was no toilet paper when we checked in. I had to go ask for some and the man at the reception said he would bring some but after waiting for an hour we went back down and he seemed to have fallen asleep and forgotten. The biggest issue was the day we were there the city shut off the water all day but luckily the hotel filled some containers and we could at least flush the toilet. HOWEVER, the following day when the water the rest of the rooms were back on, ours didn't work. We asked at reception and their maintenance guy told us there was a problem with the second floor, and brought us two buckets of water to shower with. While we appreciated his efforts, we were shocked that a boutique hotel like that would think that was an appropriate alternative after not being able to to shower the whole previous day. We went back and they reluctantly gave us another room to shower. Overall, I would probably stay again.
