I was initially surprised after arriving that no airport car could drive directly to the door of the hotel, its down a very narrow lane as I have limited walking ability with suit cases this was a bit of a challenge, I have previously written about my poor checkin experience this just continued to deteriorate the staff on many occasions tried to make up for this properties short falls but it was not enough. at the end of my trip, a trip I cut short my 2 days as my patience had completely run out. The entire hotel felt old and the rules were very old fashioned, I don't know what clientele the hotel is familiar with but checking out 2 days early, there was no discussion about a possible refund of the missing nights, I was then forced to wait stood at reception as somebody 'checked my room' my word like in every other hotel I have stayed in as part of this three week asia trip was not good enough. Then I was asked to talk the hotel representative through the room, were the hotels toiletries had been moved to to make room for my own and through the overall room.
I was really disappointed with my stay, in my initial review I raised concerns and it was clear the hotel management tried to address these concerns but in doing so didn't make anything better, our treatment changed moments after posting the first review. I really do feel for the staff at this hotel they tried there best but the property was just not unto the standard I was expecting.
