Basic Hotel with Good Service!
Short stay for business and prayer at the temple. Thought it would be good since it is next to a mall. But was disappointed, not so much by the hotel. But more by the quietness of the mall. The mall did not have anything to offer. As such, we would have stayed anywhere, it would be the same. The service in the hotel is very good especially the breakfast. Lots of servers, very attentive and responsive.

a Major Disappointment from U Hotels chain
Completely over-priced for a below-average hotel. With approximately almost THB 5000, for an entry category, and over 5000 for a "corner room", I felt robbed. I'd been a fan of U Hotels for years but this property is an embarrassment. U Nimman Chiang Mai will definitely ruin all U Hotels, even though I had been a frequent visitor of U Sathorn and U Pattaya. It's really too bad. I would maybe only return again if they charged 50% less, and even so, I would have to really be desperate for a room. The check in experience was guest relations team were equally terrible. I booked two rooms, mine was okay but my parent's room, checking in at 6.50 PM, required 30 min wait, and the special request (which I requested twice, one day prior) for a sofa bed was not met. Check-in staff was clueless and could not care less about guests. Never again.

Location location location!
U Nimman is in a great location across from a mall and next door to a night market. Close to most attractions and is clean. Only downside for me was the rooftop pool/bar wasn’t selling alcohol at the time. Other then that the place was great.
