Wonderful stay at a very comfy B&B!
Beautiful grounds, very clean and updated facilities, easy check in and check out. Breakfast was in the fridge waiting for us and was a delicious sampling of local products. Located very close to the national park, perfect place to land before or after exploring!

Nice BnB in Volcano Village area
Charming BnB with friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. Set in picturesque surroundings and conveniently located to nearby galleries and other points of interest. The adjoining walls to the adjacent rooms were a bit thin though. Homemade coconut bread served was delicious!

Enjoyed our stay, plan to return
We had a lovely stay. The rooms are nicely furnished, very clean, and the owners are very organized and responsive. They kept us up to date on the local status on the volcanic activity (everything was fine). We were greeted with a warm welcome and yummy homemade breakfasts including a combination of fresh fruits, homemade banana or pineapple-coconut bread and a protein such as a frittata or yogurt. The linens, towels and shower products are nice. The breakfast nook is well thought out and included items for coffee & tea, full place settings, salt and pepper as well as a micro and fridge. There is a beautiful rainforest walk and the lanai faces a large yard. We appreciated the detailed area/accomodation information provided in the room (the most complete we have ever seen). About the volcanic activity - the air quality was better here than in Kona.

Good proximity to the park, comfy bed & good food
The room was very nicely equipped with most things you would need. We had a cooler of food so the fridge was welcome and is not the smallest size but the next size up, with freezer space for our ice packs. The bed was comfortable and the room was large so you didn't feel cramped and there was plenty of room for bags. The list of 'tips' (which are actually rules) is rather onerous but I'd guess they must have had some less than ideal guests at some point necessitating this. It's a very rainy and wet area so having somewhere to hang your wet clothing like a small folding clothes rack would help a lot. There's some space in the bathroom for such things but not enough space for how wet it can be in Volcano. Be prepared either with your own food that you purchase EARLY in the day or make reservations at one of the few restaurants or you'll find yourself eating your next day's breakfast (which is kindly provided) for dinner. The general store posts hours but doesn't keep them, as they closed 40 min early the night we were there and the restaurants are not plentiful enough to keep up with the tourism, at least while we were there. It's a great place to stay to go see Volcano National Park, especially when there is visible lava in the crater as their was for us, so you can return at night at see it glowing in all it's splendor and glory.
