Beautiful oasis away nearby river and beach
Beautiful property grounds, tucked away in a quiet area next to the river that has its own slice of tranquility. There is a lovely walkway that takes you right towards the beach to catch the sunset or nightlife. There were two amazing pools, one to relax within the courtyard or another for livelier entertainment with a swim-up bar and restaurant. Both were serviced by amazing staff welcoming with smiles, not to mention the maintenance and security team were all excellent. This was such a serene setting to reset, relax, and/or work for whichever type of day that was needed.

Would NEVER stay here again… they charge an undisclosed $45 one-way transport from airport and only tell you once you’re picked up and taken to the resort. The lady working front desk who greeted me was pompous and unprofessional.. I refused to pay the fee, was told by Carlos (who I thought was the manager) I didn’t have to… but then he lied to the pompous lady up front saying he didn’t tell me that. I also asked for no service only to have this request disregarded as housekeeping entered my room anyway while I had valuables everywhere. The breakfast wasn’t good however the restaurant staff was quite nice. I thought this was a four star resort only to learn it’s a 3.5 and doesn’t deserve even that much… my room AC would never regulate no matter how hard I tried and it was noisy and I had trouble sleeping. Overall it was an unpleasant experience…one that I’ll never endure again when I return to El Salvador.
