A bit out of the hustle and bustle of Venice which was nice but only 12 minutes to the Rialto Bridge and 15 to St. Mark's Square. Lovely rooms, great staff very helpful with dinner reservations, tours, etc.

My husband and I truly loved staying at the Palazzo Venart. It’s antiquity made it so unique, aside from the fact that we had to take a water taxi to get there, which gave it even more cache. Our only bit of consternation was trying to find the second floor lounge where we were supposed to be able to sit and have a couple of drinks, according to the front desk clerk. However, there was no area with a bar or even anyone who would take an order for drinks, let alone make them, on the second floor. That was our only complaint.
