A Short Stay in Stravanger
No one at the property for check in. Ring a number and told where to find the key For the breakfast food is just left in the fridge the night before. Is enough food left for all staying ...NO. Despite being a solo traveller I was charged for 2 people staying and 2 persons for breakfast and there wasn't enough food left in the fridge for 1 person. The jar of Cereral corn flakes was empty and was it refilled for the next morning ....well NO. Meaning even less for breakfast. There is also no proper table to sit down at to eat this sad breakfast offering. There is a lounge with a TV except the TV doesn't work.....it might do if it's antenna were installed and not just left thrown down on the floor.... Is this setup taking the mick of guests or what ? Despite the room being clean, would I stay again ? NO.

Clean, convenient and comfortable.
Lovely little hotel in the heart of Bergen. Perfect for catching a bus or train. Breakfast laid out early.

Charming room.
Lovely room in an old building, decent breakfast (just cereal, bread, cheese and meats, fruit juice) in communal area right outside the rooms. Check in was a little problematic as we had to call them to get the access code as no-one onsite. Fortunately we had service but if you do not, make sure you get the codes ahead of time.

Little disappointed.
Very central location and nice to stay in a house. Had to contact by telephone for checking in reception, extra pillows and even more bread for breakfast, took an hour for more bread to be provided. Not easy to do when you don’t have a mobile phone with European phone signal. Rooms not cleaned every day and not much help organising your activities.

Excellent view and location
Two rooms out of the five get excellent views so I’m biased. Some nights I got cold but I noticed a faux fur blanket on the shelf, just not sure if that is enough. Being critical, you only get two pillows and mattress is thin. Because of the prime location and view a lot of people hang out around the area esp on weekend nights and insulation is lacking (older building) so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. You have to share a fridge with everyone but only 5 rooms max so not bad. Breakfast was ok, just basic bread, cheese, meat or cereal and milk, juices, fruit. There’s a toaster but no microwave. The view is astounding. 2min walk from bus station and 10min walk to ferry. Lots of shopping near by, I’d stay here again.

A little gem
I was surprised! But in a nice way. Old style 5 separate bedroom with communal lounge above a restaurant and bar so no need to go out in the evening. The food being prepared smelled glorious, maybe next time. Check-in was at the bar, bit of a climb to the rooms if you have a lot of luggage. Roadside room is somewhat noisy but after 10pm it quietens down. Has en-suite wetroom which is good. Easy to get to from central station, a very short walk indeed. And so close to the centre of the city. For a short stay it’s perfect for price and location

Good central accomodation. Roomy and clean
A nice hotel. More of a well organised guest house/Pub. The room was super with a good bathroom. You have to know that it´s a bit "do it yourself breakfast", but it was fresh and very good. The TV area was in a common room, where you could find coffee and the breakfast things. It was a very comfortable, clean room. I will certainly go back, if I need to stay in Stavanger center.

No prior instructions were given about checking in to be done at the restaurant. We were at a loss trying to get in from the back. Fortunately a guest came out & advised us to go around the building to the restaurant for checking in. Breakfast v plain, some in the fridge & some on table in the communal lounge.
