Akihabara Home Base
Stayed in this hotel for a week. Overnight GSO is very patient with us during our first night.. Property is clean and comfortable which is important. Akihabara would be my homebase in Tokyo and I’ll choose this hotel when I go back no doubt.

Room service has thieves. This is an amazing hotel with many outlets around Japan unfortunately money get missing during cleaning. It’s a very big company but it’s possible they don’t train their cleaning team ethics well. Very sad to see theft occurring in an extremely remarkable country like Japan

be careful
Hope to warn other travelers to be wary of valuables in your room. They can get missing after room service. Especially money. Everything else, it is value for money.

Please Be Careful
I rarely write reviews but this was important. I’m a Gold member with an average of 80 nights a year. This hotel is a famous chain around Japan. However I’m disappointed with the cleaning services. Japan is a country known to be very honest. I left some money in my room. When I came back and ask if they saw it during cleaning, the cleaning staff which I presume from India or Bangladesh said they didn’t see anything. Issue is not much about the money but it reaffirms the saying to never trust Hotel even in a country like Japan. It was a mistake for me, don’t let this happen to you. Shame on this.

Good hotel, good location!
Hotel is in a great location for geeks and Japanese culture! The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Space is a little cramped for 2 people, but would be pretty comfortable for 1.

Excellent staff and location, but mind the floors!
-The staff were extremely helpful and kind. -The room was perfect for the price and had great ammentites! -The location is perfect for visiting akihabara. Heres the negative: -Be extremely careful when.exiting the elevator on the 7th floor! My wife sprained her ankle on the cutout along the floor of the railing which has no signs or warnings. Not sure if this cutout is on every floor or just 7, so be cautious when exiting the elevator.

More location than actual room
You're certainly paying for the location. The room itself, I would have paid alittle more had I known that they were going to be so small. It was just my wife and I and we felt as though we kept running into each other. For some reason only the heat worked in our room though their was fan controls, perhaps it was user error, but we couldn't get the fan to work and the room was quite warm. The pillows they had in the room were very thin, literally no thicker than my forearm, so we asked the staff down stairs for more pillows and all of a sudden the had they large fluffy pillows for us. The nice thing was that they did allow us to store our luggage there on our last day. Over all I'd say the place is fair, but your definitely paying for the location rather the room.
