The Marvin Gardens cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful Mississippi overlook and hiking trails right outside. Excellent hospitality.
Fabulous little hidden gem. We will be visiting again ASAP
Quiet and Clean, excellent homemade breakfast. Nice view of the view of the river and walking trails.
This B&B has a lot of character. Nice view of the Mississippi river.
Terrific place to stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. Marie, the care taker, is awesome. So highly recommend! Was better than expected. Beautiful.
Beautiful river views on a secluded bluff. The cabin is still close to town.
The cabin smelled of smoke & the furniture completely worn out! We’d stayed before nine years ago, nothing updated since!
The cabin had everything you would need to stay for a weekend. There are dishes and pans so you could make meals or grill out. It has a deck overlooking the Mississippi river. It is in a wooded area at the edge of town. The main buildings were beautifully restored and would be fabulous as a bed and breakfast.
Wonderful property on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi. Stayed in the Marvin Gardens woodland cabin. Marie, our hostess, was friendly, knowledgeable and made is feel very welcome. We are excited to go back soon.
Not far outside Dubuque but so lovely we didn't feel the need to go to town. The beautiful rolling grounds have huge trees full of birds, fields of flowers and a lovely view down to the Mississippi's wooded banks. The historic houses were charming and breakfast wonderful. Had a good meal at a nearby place they recommended.
