Perfect location
Perfect location, right in the action. Helpful staff. Arrived before check in just to drop off luggage, but the room was ready so they let us check in. Arranged for a taxi to the airport the evening before we checked out. The room was super clean. It would have been nice to have a Keurig in the room to make coffee or tea. Glasses for tap water would have been nice, too. The breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate and cost 11 euros per person so decided to have coffee and pastry for less expense elsewhere. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great location. Hotel is relatively basic but very clean. Staff was helpful. We left early so I’m unable to comment on the breakfast.

Fantastic location and very comfortable room
We have just returned from spending 3 nights in a junior suite at the hotel. The junior suites are accesses through a separate door around the corner from the main hotel entrance. The suite was really large with a very comfortable bed and a sofa and chairs. The bathroom was a very good size as well, and there is a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave etc. We had a view of the Roman Theatre from our room too, so you really could not be in a better location to visit that, the Cathedral, the Alcazaba, the Picasso museum, etc. My only reasons for not giving it an excellent rating are that the breakfast was rather limited. There is a buffet, but compared to many other hotels we have stayed in, the choice was not massive. And the other thing that annoyed us was that the suite had a coffee machine in it which takes capsules - but none were provided. When I asked for a couple at reception I was told that they used to provide them but don't anymore - and they said we would need to buy them ourselves from Netspresso. So if you book a suite and like coffee - take some with you. I would certainly return to the hotel.

Exceptional 10.0
My first thought regarding the room we were given was that it was really small and wasn't sure if I was going to like it. But then we had an issue with the lock on the door. I immediately brought it to the attention of the staff on hand. They worked on trying to fix it themselves but then told us that since it was the weekend, they wouldn't be able to have it fixed till Monday but they did offer us a room change. I took them up on that offer and boy was I glad I did. I believe he called it a superior room. It was like a small apartment. King size bed, living room area and a small kitchen. We even had 3 separate balconies. Room was super clean and modern. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great location in the middle of everything. We were sad to leave when it was time to check out.
