Very clean new place. No parking at hotel but there is a reasonably priced car park nearby.
The hotel was beautiful, so was the view And not too far from restaurants and shops Unfortunately the brunch buffet was horrible, really awful the eggs tasted off, it was unorganised, cutlery was lacking, service was nowhere to be seen just as the sausages seemed to have never seen a frying pan. We were shocked as we had heard such great things about the restaurant. We would pick another hotel another time if we wanted to have breakfasts included.
This was a good and calm athmosphere stay at Story hotel Malmö. The view is amazing and breakfast has improved! Very comfortable beds and nice room. Only thing that could be better is better AC and the raindrop shower is quite small, water drips out into the toilet and the room and shower appears to look bigger on the photos. It was also very great we could rent the bikes for free. Thanks for the experience!
Love the Vitamin well bottles!
Very nice
I had an amazing stay at Story Hotel. The staff was super friendly, and accommodating with our request of giving us a nice room with a view and late checkout time on Sunday (which was complimentary). The rooms were super clean, stunning views, comfy beds, amazing locally sourced shampoos/toiletries and good basic breakfast. The only thing that was odd was that the walls were super thin and you could hear people from the vents in the bathroom or the hallway outside. Other than this, Story Hotel gets a 9/10.
The hotel is situated by the water. A pity that most of the view is over the industrial harbour because the room nested on the upper level of this high tower facing it would deserve the best. He room is really comfortable to the smallest detail : ThE bed are big and the Linen really soft ! The hand soap smells delicious. The only drawback might be the lack of appliance to make coffee/tea but is compensated by the included refreshed free beverage in the fridge.
It rarely happens that a review can remark on truly outstanding customer service, but this is one occasion. The night-duty receptionist that greeted us is an outstanding and proud ambassador not only for Story Malmo but also for the city. Having arrived very late, she ensured we got settled in with everything we needed - including advice and suggestions on late night food. The hotel location is excellent, convenient to transpoirt and easily accessible from CPH. Not being in the heart of Malmo, the hotel offers a quiet location but within easy reach of everything. The facilities were excellent as were the views. The freely available hotel bicycles were a very useful alternative mode of transport. Breakfast was good but could offer a broader range of options, perhaps including fruit. It is best to avoid busier times as the restricted breakfast area can be quite hectic. All-in-all a hotel worthy of praise.
On the second day, I could not turn on the TV. After a trip to Reception (where I was given new batteries for the remote), a phone call to Reception (never answered altho I left a message) and another trip to Recepetion (while our room was being very minimally serviced), someone finally arrived in our room and confirmed that the TV was not working. He set about trying various things to see what might work - turning on the main lights, hitting the switch behind the TV - once on purpose, once by accident. The TV came on - very slowly. The staff member confirmed that the working of the power and lighting switches in the hotel were something of a mystery.
Wonderful. Good service and great view over city and the Öresund. Gabriel at the reception was gladly to bring an iron up to the 13th floor when asked and even came by later again to help me out with the Apple TV. Billy at the bar made great drinks and served us with wonderful service aswell. The restaurant has one of the greatest japaneese sushi and an awesome roof for having a great night at.
