Great location in Plaka area. Restaurants close and great base to visit Acropolis and museum. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast taken at nearby local restaurant which is very nice. Only downside could be spiral staircase for upstairs rooms

Great Spot in Plaka
Right in the heart of Plaka (old Athens), on a wonderful square with cool restaurants serving both traditional and Mediterranean Greek cuisine, we loved the walkability of this spot. The staff were all very nice and if you’re looking for a place in Plaka, this is it.

Good staff, with a desire to help.
The room was small, but we only needed a bed and bathroom. The whole lower floor had an echoing boom, and the other guests were very loud, and locked out, until midnight thirty. Unfortunately, that night there was nobody on reception, so the banging, shouting and ringing was prolonged. The next day we tried to change rooms, but because of transport strikes, patrons had to put up at short notice, so this was not possible. So, we were offered and glad to accept free breakfast for two for four days. I don’t want to be too harsh here; a hotel occasionally has staffing issues, and a national strike is out of their control. They do need to do something about sound proofing, but the staff remained friendly and helpful throughout, and did anything possible to make our stay as good as it could be.
