This was a pretty good motel actually. The service was great, and check-in was an absolute breeze. The grounds were rather lovely, and they even had a menu that you could order things for the evening, without having to go all the way into town to look after yourself. The rooms were also pretty good, and the wifi was great, and easy to connect to as well, which is certainly important for somebody like me. I guess the only gripe that I had, which isn’t so much a fault of their’s, was that it was out on the edge of town, which made it difficult for me to get to since I was reliant upon the bus.

I was disgusted that the price was increased by $60 per room per night just because it was energy breakthrough weekend. Everything was a bit too squishy. The only good thing was we didn’t have to travel out of town for our bed. It’s only just inside town boundaries

Clean,comfortable and an old world charm.good valu
A group of us stayed in Maryborough for a Rotary conference last weekend. The Highlander was very reasonable rates. The rooms are small and SPOTLESSLY clean. The showers have lovely hot water and great pressure. I had made an error in the booking and the owners were extremely gracious and forgiving and accommodating. I would go back and stay there and highly recommend it.
