Didnt even get to access house as upon arrival we sat outside for 1hour constantly phoning home owners and got no reply so we had to drive home late in the evening aswell as loose £100.

Paisley Weekend - 19th May 18
Was given key before apartment had been seen by housekeeping. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful when they arrived. Apartment is a good size and the rooms were what we needed for our stay. Few pointers for the owners: Upstairs sink and toilet plumbing linked and not draining efficiently. New radiator upstairs pulling away from the wall. Stairs carpet marked and bare in places, sofa has a rip and no stuffing / support. Shower effective but gets the floor wet.Hover was so full even the dust was compacted, so had to spend time cleaning this before we could clean up after ourselves. We only needed a place to sleep for two nights,. Not sure why I needed to pay a breakage deposit for the condition on arrival.

Very disappointing. The mattresses in the single beds need replacing as the springs were poking through. The exterior of the apartment was very uninviting and felt scary! The apartment needed cleaning, repainting and new carpet. A sign warning how hot the water was in the shower would have been helpful and if you have young children be careful they don't go in the unlocked cleaning cupboard or access the cupboard under the sink. About the only plus point was the proximity to the airport. This experience will make me think very carefully about booking through Expedia again.

We had to wait for the keys about 45 min. Password for the Wi-Fi was incorrect. Also, there was no instructions how to start the shower and it didn't work. So 4 of us couldn't shower. There was no tea or coffee, when in other apartments you can make yourself a warm drink for free. Bunk bed in the other room was very uncomfortable. Every time I was hitting my head to the bed above me. Apartment was clean. Location is also good. Few minutes drive to the airport.

Low end apartment close to airport
This is not a hotel. I was sent an email from the owner a few days before we stayed there demanding a £100 deposit to be paid into a bank account. I thought it was a phishing scam so I called the person and it's not. I refused to pay it. Also, I had to call to arrange a time to get into the apartment. very very inconvenient. Once we finally got the keys we weren't shown the place, just told everything is written down in there. Entering the stairwell reminded me of movies where you'd see homeless people lying inside (crack houses) and it smelled strongly of urine. Surprisingly the apartment was ok but was not cleaned properly and I checked the beds very carefully for bedbugs. The beds were actually good but the sheets didn't look very clean. The written instructions include an inventory or EVERY single item in the apartment. We stayed here to be close to the airport for an early flight but the apartment is on a busy road so unless you're a deep sleeper the noise makes it hard to sleep. This place should not be on hotels.com and I am upset that it is.

OK apartment close to Glasgow airport
I found the Glasgow Airport Apartments online and booked for a one night stay before our departure home from our vacation. The apartment itself was clean and sufficient for our use but I wouldn't stay again or recommend it to friends. First of all the name Glasgow Airport Apartments is misleading as there is only one apartment and there is no signage of any kind to say you are at the right place. The apartment itself is nice, and was clean but the building it is in is sketchy. Probably like many foreign travellers, we did not have cell phone service but we needed to phone the number on our booking for someone to come over and let us into the building. It would have been helpful if this was made clear on the booking. The stairway up to the apartment was disgusting! The carpet was worn right through, holes in the walls, dirty and smelled. Was not a good first impression.
