Highly recommend Hotel Villa Kapuru! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. This is a terrific place to stay when coming or going from Colombo airport, or as a Negombo area destination hotel.

Great hotel in the Negombo area! In walking distance of beach and the main street with plenty of dining options is just up the road about two blocks. The train station is about 4 blocks away. Fast internet, kettle, combination safe, hot water with good pressure, fridge, patio area, and nice desk make the room very suitable. I had a canal view and saw a monitor lizard on two seperate occasions. Staff is super nice and you will certainly enjoy your stay there. The pool is well maintained and cleaned daily and the breakfast is super yummy with honey covered yogurt, plenty of fruit, and eggs made to order served thick slices of locally baked bread. Give it a go!

5 star service *****
Amazing stay here! 2 minutes walk to the beach, massive rooms, amazing breakfast and best of all the staff! The Sri Lankan manager of the hotel is amazing! He couldnt of done more to make me well welcome and so everything possible he could to help me book taxis, recommend activities, just a great guy. I will come back to this lovely hotel when I’m back in Negombo.
