The room was magnificent as was the balcony. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is suffering somewhat from 2017 hurricane.

This has the potential to be an excellent hotel. It is an old style Caribbean hotel, one of the oldest buildings in the island. The rooms are huge with a very large bathroom, and front balcony over looking the beach. The people at the reception were very helpful, calling taxis etc. However, it is a little run down, needing some renovation, so don’t expect too much from its appearance. However, it is generally clean.

Beach view was unobstructed from our balcony. Since they have had a slow recovery from a storm in 2017, we understand the look of the exterior. Rooms are huge. They are updated.

At one time this hotel was probably amazing but it went through a hurricane 7 years ago and it still looked like it. The lobby area was a mess and there isnt a restaurant as advertised. We stayed in a suite which was ok. View and location are amazing! We wouldn’t stay there again unless they cleaned the place up.

Staff was nice. Cleaning daily. Quiet. Not many staying in the hotel. Had to pay for laundry. We had very spacious suite. Furniture in the lobby is antique and needed dusting. We had to dust the tables etc in our room. Very big bathroom with tub and walk in shower. Can get basic breakfast but we mostly ate on the boardwalk. Will come back again.

The front desk staff, I’m sorry I have forgotten her name, was amazing. She helped us numerous times sorting out places to go and things to see. The room was lovely with a balcony and a view of the beach and ocean. There was no real restaurant on site, just a beach bar that was open some of the time. That didn’t matter as there were lots of places to eat near by. The suite was the most amazing we had on our trip, 7 different places. Beautifully furnished, huge bathroom and adequate kitchenette.

Was here 5 years ago and sadly the Pasanggrahan has gone downhill during this time. I was in 40l and room is large and has been updated with nice balcony overlooking the beach and port. Coffee pot in room but no coffee and no breakfast or any food as restaurant is not operating. Sad that the hurricane did so much damage and no one has been able to do major repairs necessary.

Very old furniture, the fabric on the couch looks pretty dirty. In the bathroom you can see huge coaches. The private beach is a fake. Several times they change our sun beds to the old rusty ones. The beach staff is very rude and sometimes drunken. We definitely not recommend this hotel.Marina Canada

We found the entrance area, the reception and the veranda tables shabby. The toilets were neglected and seemed to be used as a storage area. Although the staff were pleasant we did not feel it was where we wanted to stay and cancelled our booking. In addition, the pictures of the beach were misleading, in fact the beach borders the main port.

Although clean, the room furnishings were tired. Bed ws great. Some of the amenities were not available. The bar was only open on weekends. The dining was not open at ll during our stay - not even coffee in the morning.

Inside was great. Don’t be deceived by the outside. Since a hurricane in 2017 they have focused on the guest rooms. Not really their fault.

1st room, 303, air wasn’t working. Read 80 when I arrived and 2 hrs later it was 81. Plus tv wasn’t hooked up to any service so had to again go to front desk to get fire stick. Was moved to 301 which had air and different front desk person installed fire stick. Later after dinner wanted a shower. No hot water! When I went down the next morning I was told repairman was scheduled to come that day. Then found out the issue was known the day, or more, before I checked in. It would have been nice to be told that before taking the room. What a classy business would have done, I’ve had it done before, is make arrangements with another hotel to move to customers. Instead they took my money and didn’t supply normal services, basic hot water. They told me that the hotel was just sold at auction. No doubt it was a bargain needing all sorts of work. The icing on the cake was when I told them I would be leaving after one night of a 3 night reservation because they couldn’t guarantee that the hot water system would be repaired they were kind enough to let me know they wouldn’t charge me for the next two days. Really, they knee there was no hot water and they were kind enough not to charge me, classic.

Beach front, huge rooms and bathroom, very comfortable bed, microwave with coffee maker and kitchen sink, descent size balcony with lounge chair, chair and small table, all workers super nice, a fridge near the check in that carried some alcohol and non alcoholic drinks for sale(super convenient) fresh coffee near the check in daily for free, off season so no restaurant available but tons of places to eat near by.
