Great hotel in great location
Very helpful and polite staff, excellent daily room cleaning, very good location close to the Main Rail Station, Santa Lucia and in the historical heart of Venice. I spent 12 wonderful nights in this hotel.

Close to the Venezia SM station, fliendly staff. Thin walls, could hear people at the check in counter, a bit bothersome if you're a light sleeper.

Not worth the money or the hassle.
The reason I didn’t give it the worst rating is because the location was the only good thing. It stated that there would be a view of the canal, but our view was of a courtyard. The front desk staff were not friendly at all, they all seemed extremely bothered by us. And the front desk is across the way from the rooms so you have to physically go there to ask them to open the building, which we didn’t mind but they did. You also have to leave your key at the desk when you leave the premise which was a huge safety concern for us. In fact they gave us a lot of safety concerns; from holding on to the key when we left, insisting on holding on to our passports while we settled in to the hotel, and they told us they’d hold our luggage the last day but they were placed in the eating area where anyone would be able to go through it. The bathroom is shared by floor (we knew this so it wasn’t a big deal) but they chose the to clean it at 8am while we were trying to get ready to get our day started. I don’t see myself coming back to Venice, but if I do this would be the LAST hotel I’d stay at.

Horribleeeee!!! El señor que nos atendió un repugnante. Sin asensor y sin aire. En Venecia hace muchaaa calor . El cuarto apestoso y sucio. Hasta las paredes tenían polvo. De tantos hoteles que me he quedado ese fue el peor de todos. Lo escogí por una noche . Luego me quede en HC continental ese si fue una maravilla .
