This was the best hotel and spa we have visited, staff are unbelievable so friendly and accommodating, the rooms were pristine and food was amazing

Okay… but has its flaws
Overall the stay here was okay, but we wouldn’t stay again. The spa made up for the lack of sleep that we got, the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, only made better by sleeping on top of the duvet, and the room we had was incredibly loud being right above the kitchen. The shower also kept changing from hot to cold every minute. In a £200 a night hotel, I didn’t expect to have to pay a further £15 a night just to park my car either. Positives are the spa was amazing, the bar staff and spa staff were all amazing. The food was reasonably priced and tasted amazing. The location of the hotel is walking distance from torquey marina and many restaurants around the area. Overall it was okay due to the spa and staff, but the room was a huge let down

Defo a thumbs up
Loved our 2 night break away here. Staff couldnt do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. TOP TIP - if needing an evening taxi book in advance as we couldnt get an evening one for love nor money! Very close to town, with in walking distance to everything (down a hill - warning if walking up it with luggage you will need a drink at the hotel! Lol) Really friendly and attentive staff who couldnt do enoygh for us. Room was clean and tidy - although could have done with a bit more attention to cleaning some areas of the room as saw cobwebs but i was being picky! Spa and spa staff were super lovely and cant recommend the treatments enough! Everything about our weekend away was perfect here. Highly recommend afternoon tea as well..... we were stuffed! We cant wait to go back again.

Solid hotel, pleasant spa, staff over worked.
Lovely hotel in a great position. Bar staff super, and engaging. Some of the others less so / rushed off their feet and under pressure. Spa lovely (other guests talking very loudly from one end of the pool to the other but that's not the hotels fault!). Refurbed room very nicely done.

Very nice reception, dining area. Good evening meal and excellent service from Jason. Stay Let down by poor quality maintenance of bathroom. Sealant by a 5 year old. Shower floods bathroom. No blackout curtains. Kept awake by floodlights on building opposite. Surprise parking charge £15 after booked
