Hidden hotel treasure
My wife and I felt at home the minute we stepped into the lobby. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our 2-night stay. Other than a slow elevator (not a big deal), everything else about the hotel was terrific. There are fancier hotels in Amsterdam, but I would recommend Mr. Jordan to anyone.

Solo traveller- would stay again!
I'm not one usually leave a review... This hotel was wonderful. Is it a little creaky and noisy? Maybe a little. Is it in a truly beautiful spot away from the less attractive part of the city, but still in a great spot? Sure is! Rooms aren't large but they are clean and have everything you need. The attention to detail is lovely - drinks and snacks are always available (eat the wine gums! Best ever!) and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. There is a lift but it is slow, so if mobility is an issue just keep that in mind. When I left I was even given a little bag of treats for my onward journey. A lovely touch. I also did the canal tour using the discount code from the hotel and it was great. P.s. it is very easy to get to from Central station.

Mr. Jordaan Hotel provided an excellent experience! From check in to the breakfast buffet (yummy!) to our check out, the staff was always friendly and accommodating. They set the bar high for other hotels. The location was great. Close enough to walk to tourist places but then a quiet and peaceful location to come back to.
