The room was clean and the partial water view was great. No noise from the traffic or neighbouring construction. It was so handy to have the coffee shop and market on the property. The best feature was two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Perfect for out of town work trip - we would definitely come back!
Spacious, well appointed condo style suite with an incredible view of the ocean, sunrise and sunsets. The close proximity to the market and coffee shop was perfect for our family.
Good location, cleaness and quiet during the night.
The good work done is strongly compromised by noise. Noise source is from industrial overhead air conditioning installed on the roof, to service the over 5000 sq foot market below as well as the suites. Sound is greatest in the bedrooms, its like being next to a ships engine room. Also the Serious Coffee takout window right below bedroom windows so trucks pull up in the early am, is not considering people in the suites. The unit is situated at the junction of 2 busy roads. The kitchen/frontroom area is spacious and fine.
We were very happy with suite itself - spacious & great location above the market. Easy to grab dinner ingredients since there is a kitchen in the suite. The only downside for us was the road noise. We stayed for two nights and the sound of loud diesel trucks going by made it difficult to sleep.
The check in process was confusing for people who had never been there before. I stood in line for 15 minutes listening to a family checking in arguing about the fact that they already paid on line but the cashier was trying to explain that they didn’t and needed to pay now. I eventually stepped in on behalf of the employee to tell the customer that I have stayed here before a few times and they never let you pay in advance at this place. Then they tried to get their rooms side by side and asked if I was willing to give up my 3 bedroom suite for them. I was not able to do so and thought that was pretty obnoxious as I had booked my stay months in advance as it was a work trip and I needed separate rooms for everyone.
We stayed in the 3-bedroom condo. The room is very spacious and clean. Very convenient to have a grocery store just downstairs. Awesome ocean view. There is also a nice playground within walking distance — good for kids. My only concern is that in the main bedroom there was a little bit loud and strange noise from the water heater area throughout the whole night. But in general, we are happy with the stay.
It's clean and very convenient. Market downstairs.
The suite is beautiful and well appointed. The coffee shop below servers absolutely excellent coffee. The marketplace has fresh healthy foods, baking, snacks and drinks. The only drawback is the traffic on road in front. Bedrooms are in the back so sleeping is quiet though.
This place is more of an apartment then hotel. It had a full kitchen. There was also a laundry room which was nice to have. Probably best to bring your open shampoo and conditioner, there wasn't much. Also bring an eye mask for sleeping. The bedroom is very bright from the street lights. The grocery store below was handy. The location is a little ways from town, 4k, so a bit of a walk if you want to get into town, but it was worth it for the size of this place and the kitchen and laundry. I would stay here again.
