Disgraceful
Had 3 days booked....checked out after the first night. Room was virtually inhabitable. I had to put towels on the bed as I slept (loose term) as t was so dirty. Bathroom a disgrace with a noisy extractor fan keeping us both awake most of the night. On checkout the reception advised that they would have changed my room....my thought was, why not put me in a decent room to begin with?

Receptionist(emre) never stays at the front desk. His colleagues had to cover his role. He is arrogant but not against to single beautiful ladies. almost all of male employees annoy women and girls in the hotel. Unfortunately that's classic scenario in Turkish turizm industry. There is no difference in here. BTW thanks to Veli for everything.

Felt Like At Home
Oba Star Hotel was better than our expectations from 4 star Hotel. It was tidy, well designed, well planned Premise, not too big as size. But staff and management attitude for customer satisfaction was extraordinary. I would say one of the best trained personnel towards making the customers happy. Even my 77 years old mother has been very satisfied from top to down General Manager Mr Zafer, front office manager Mr. Emre and staff, floor services manager Mrs Gulsah and staff, restaurant manager Mr Serkan and all restsurant staff, all bar and beach staff, Turkish bath/Spa services staff they were all great. They have been trained not to say no as much as possible. Open buffets, Variety of foods, non-stop 24 hours food&drink, all inclusive service was great. Private hotel space at beach was just 2 minutes walk. Food/drink service at beach was very good idea. Room size were OK.There were some animation activities, not vert much but staff warmth and efforts were supporting them. Meditteranian sea was always blue, warm and clean. Pool was also nice, clean and comfy. We have extended our stay, and we were really happy to choose Oba Star as our place to stay.

Evidently this hotel puts hotel.com customers into their “unremodeled building and the rooms are utterly disgusting dirty old and broken. After 2 nights in this horrible room I was able to get moved to a remodeled room that was a very nice 3 star to 3.5 star room. If I had been put into this room initially my review would be 4 stars. There’s lots of food at their buffets. Mostly Russian Clients I enjoyed the spa the most with a great massage therapist. I was told there is no way to request a remodeled room I told Hotels.com they should not use this hotel unless they guarantee the remodeled rooms.
