Great Place to Stay!
I was very happy! Good Things: (1) Very comfortable bed (2) Very centrally located one block from main square in old town (3) Very quiet (4) Mostly friendly service, especially Angela (5) Best breakfast ever! They are a restaurant and they quickly bring you any number of dishes off the breakfast menu you can eat. Minus: (1) The rudest server I hve ever encountered - he yelled at me when I tried to have dinner and said "Excuse me, can I have a menu please" in a nice tone of voice. literally yelled at me. Then yelled more, saying the table was reserved, but there was no reserved sign, just something that said (in German, not English) "Would you like a free table?" That is not a reservation sign and the property needs to improve this to stop future problems !!! But I could not let that one horrible person ruin what was a great stay though I advise avoiding him.

I was so surprised and VERY pleased with this hotel. I booked it because it was close to the market but ended up loving it. I see this place as a merge between a B&B and a boutique hotel. My room was massive -- and not just by European standards. As was the bathroom. I would stay with you for sure if I'm ever in Nuremberg again. I also LOVED the restaurant, Five Diner. Excellent service all around!

The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. New, modern shower with fancy soaps, and comfortable couch. The location is amazing! center of Nuremberg by the market, still felt quiet and private. The cafe for breakfast was the best part!! I have stayed many places in Nuremberg, I would highly recommend Hotel FIVE for any single, business, or couple traveling. Not ideal for families with active children, though, few amenities and not space for running around.
