Room hadn’t been cleaned, they just remade bed!
Room was made up but when pulling down the top bed cover the sheets were filthy and marked with recent blood and stains, including hair and a finger nail. Just glad we noticed upon arrival and not later in the night getting into bed. With COVID you’d think cleaning would be a priority. Yuk!!!!!!

Sage always take care of us on our quick weekends in the city. Always great service from staff. Water warmth does seem to depend on the room you get, however.

Amazing Team of Staff
Without fail every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The Sage is modern; with limited room service & dining. Rooms nicely decorated. Immediate West Perth closes at 5pm. What really made the difference was the “can do” attitude of staff. On our 2nd night we learned we had to self isolate as we had arrived from NSW. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive & sensitive to our needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The personal recognition was the cherry on top; front desk staff remembered our room number. Cafe staff knew our coffee orders.

Disappointing...
The room was confirmed as King. It was a disabled room with a Queen bed. Leaking shower and no powerpoint in the bathroom. Plus now I cannot get hotels.com to issue me with a valid tax invoice for this work trip. Not happy with Sage or this website! Very ordinary service all round :(

A Great Birthday Staycation
We really enjoyed our stay at The Sage. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The room was clean but there was mildew on the ceiling in the entrance to the bathroom. Julio's restaurant was superb! We enjoyed a very decadent afternoon tea on the verandah

I liked the size of our Standard King room. The bed was very comfortable. The view over Perth was interesting and the window provided plenty of light. Nice coffee maker. Take extra pods as they only provide two and the mugs are small. The location is quiet.
