Shabby but serviceable
Very basic and needs updating. Fabulous location, right on the beach. Advertised as ‘parking available’ but the hotel does not have parking and we had to park a good 10-15-minute walk away. The bed itself was comfortable and clean and the shower to. Only one lamp between two people. A chair that really needs to be thrown out would’ve been better off not used. Windows need blinds and the curtains were coming off the rails. Check in time us late - 3pm and check out is early - 10am. The walls and doors were very mayors and looked grubby - we didn’t pay much but you do expect things to look clean.

Perfect place to unwind
Hotel is in a beautiful position over looking St Catherine’s island and Caldey island. The staff are friendly and helpful making the stay all the more personal. The hotel is very clean and our room was immaculately presented. We had a lovely evening meal and a great breakfast too. The bar has the most spectacular view as the sun was setting. The hotel is undergoing a complete refurbishment and this is great to see. We would return without hesitation

Quite enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. As previous reviews, hotel is quite dated. Booked twin sea view room. Beautiful views. Hotel almost on beach. Room not wonderful. Found bottle top from previous occupant on floor. Apparently hotel is being refurbished. Bar staff really friendly and helpful. We ate out but food did look lovely.
