Very warm welcome . One night stay for early flight. Visited North American plate, beach and geothermal springs very nearby. Good choice of restaurants, we recommend the Library bistro/bar to eat.

This guesthouse is located in a newly developed town, about 45 minutes south to the "old" city centre of Reykjavic. But the environment is clean and safe. The house is quite reasonably priced, the owner is friendly and happy to help.

6min ride from airport
The guesthouse is just 6min ride from the airport. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room is like a miniature apartment with a small fridge, toaster, microwave oven, kettle and little amount of utensils. Good enough for a short stay. There’s a 24/7 supermarket nearby, though not walkable, the town is pretty small.
