Destiny Student - Murano (Campus Accommodation)

Reception was great super friendly and kind..the bed was a bow of springs with no filler HORRIBLE we bought blow up pool rafts to sleep in because the springs were of so called bed were digging into our skin..there was absolutely no air circulation..the window only opened at and upward angle maybe two inches..the bathroom smelled if old warm urine..there were dirty bath towels in the room when we arrived..the walls we so thin you could hear a coin drop on the floor next to you.. everyone there slammed ever single door all thru the day morning and night..the carpet was stained and the desk chair stained..normally I'd say a place like this is good for less than five hours sleep if you are on the run traveling all about but it's not even worth that because you wouldn't even sleep ten minutes comfortably here..I can not believe the difference in Dubkins destiny and the one here NIGHT and DAY ...and I can not believe hotels com would have this on their list of options..make me very Leary to trust them in the future for hotels stays..again the people working reception were amazing but that's not where we're were sleeping...would never recommend this place to anyone...sorry

Nice and clean good location

The accomodation was clean on arrival, It is very basic but for the price what can you expect. Check in was quick and staff were very friendly, It was far to warm in all areas so from day one I asked for a fan (deposit of £20) which helped. Shared kitchen was well stocked with all you needed. Yes you can hear other people coming and going but you know what you're renting when you book so its to be expected!! Thankfully my fellow renters were considerate of others staying there. Approx 15/20 min uphill walk to main areas of edinburgh, However only a 2 min walk to a direct bus route into main city Overall good experiance and would use again.

Mattress a little uncomfortable and rooms a bit warm but other than that excellent..

The rooms are too hot. I disagree to the arrangement of the accommodation to use bicycle locks to disallow the opening of windows widely enough. It makes the rooms hot!
