Happy experience overall
We stayed in the family suite. Just two in a room. Room spacious and comfortable. However carpet is dirry and needs updating badly stained due to previous stayers overall superb location. Nice walks to Nihombashi and Tokyo station. Would stay here again

Once great hotel
This was my fourth stay, since this location opened. Although I still like this property, it has noticeably declined in the last year. The common areas, walls, showers are not as well maintained as they once were. Thankfully Steamers Coffee shop has closed, but the charm and environment of Fritters/pub is also gone. The lobby is no longer a fun and social place to have a couple of evening drinks. No more complimentary towels. The addition of breakfast is a positive change. Please bring the cleanliness, decor, and environment back to the standards that it once was, so that this can once again be the best place to stay in Tokyo. This Grids location was once a trendy capsule style hotel that is becoming more like a budget hostel. The staff are still outstanding.

it was good, its just that the shower room is only located on the second floor. in my case, my room is located at the 7th floor, i have to go all the way to the second floor just to take shower. but aside from this, my stay here was good.

if u r a poor college student on a tight budget
I stayed here bc of good review, but sorely disappointed. The moment I stepped in the the only elevator in the building it reeked of various body stench. The stink grew stronger as I entered the cabin room that I thought I came to a zoo. There were mildew in the shower room, and I noticed there was an elderly lady who was doing all the cleaning by herself. To add insult to the injury, they make u to borrow a bath towel! Many standard amenities have to be paid also. The slippers u r required to wear were so gross I just wore my socks and threw them away afterwards. Even the breakfast was very subpar both quality n quantity. The only positive thing I remember is that the lockers r on the same floor as the sleeping pods.
