Favorite Hotel in Laureles
We love this hotel! We have stayed here 5 times within the last year or so. It is very rare to have any kind of problem here. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. AC works great and the showers have hot water. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They clean the rooms daily upon request and it’s so nice when you get back from your outings and the room is made up so nicely. The free breakfast is good too. Location is great. Within walking distance to ATM, many restaurants and about 20 minutes to Metro station. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

El hotel es un hotel ecológico, nos trasmite conciencia de cuidar el planeta. Tiene excelente ubicación en los Laureles a tan solo 10 minutos de la vida nocturna, restaurantes y malls. El desayuno es incluido y es bien tipico con frutas y jugos naturales incluidos. La atención en recepción excelente. Free coffee all the time. Café como cortesía. Easy access to the train. Fácil acceso al metro queda a 15 minutos caminando. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy confortables. Very cozy and clean. El jacuzzi y el turco es un plus.

Uncomfortable Stay
On some websites, it's advertised as a 4-star hotel, but that's a sham. The room's for a single person are very small compared to what you could get at a similar price in different hotels in the area. And there were a series of problems that affected comfortability: -Wifi did not work most of the time -Very loud tile-work in the lobby that started at 9am -Loud drunk tourists that echoed in throughout the entire hotel when they came back to the hotel at night -Poor showel gel/shampoo quality; ineffective at dispensing soap. Made you smell like green apple candy. -The A/C unit would wake me up every night multiple times because of the flaps making a very loud creaking noise as they moved around -The bed is set with just a sheet on top of it, no blanket. They do provide a blanket in the closet, but if I got it out and used it, they would fold it up and put it away after they made up the room. -The safe locked with the door open; unusable -Sink pressure was too strong. Difficult to use without spraying water everywhere -Trash bins weren't lined with anything. Also, the toilet paper bin was still full from the previous guest when I checked in Overall, the room and lobby service was great and punctual. The actual look of the room was nice. It was just the details/nuances that made it annoying to stay here.

The hotel is a smaller boutique style hotel. The staff was excellent & always willing to help & answer all my questions. I speak Spanish & I do not know how the staff is with English. I was there 8 nights & English was never needed when I was present at the reception desk. The small restaurant offered a good made to order breakfast. that was included The only con was that being a solo traveler, i found myself in a very small room w/a smaller bathroom, but I was able to deal with it. The hotel was located about a 20 minute walk to the subway station & in a somewhat residencial area. There were many restaurants & bars within a several block walling distance.
