The place is lovely, right in the middle of Tikal National Park, but it’s services are very basic. No televisión, no phone in the room, n air conditioning, limited WiFi to lobby. It’s quite beautiful and staff is friendly and helpful. It just good to me aware of its limitations.

The jungle lodge is right next to entrance to Tikial Park. They arranged transportation from Airport, we stopped with driver to arrange for tickets into the park, and through the lodge we arranged a day tour of Tikial and a sunrise tour which was super cool as you walk in the dark at 4am and walk to one of the monuments, climb up and watch the surrounding area get lighter. You can hear the different howler monkey clans in the distance. You can also hear howler monkeys up close and personal in the middle of the night at the lodge...didn't know what it was at first but then figured it out. It was a little sureal. The food at the lodge was excellent and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend again.

This is the best way to enjoy Tikal, the food and pool were delightful and the rooms very comfortable. Water was hot. Note that there is no wifi in rooms and power is out a few times a day. Overall this made for a more enjoyable experience.

Everything was what we expected other than the electricity being limited to certain hours. Not much to do in the evening other than a pool table. Outside the park the tour guides are overly aggressive and pushy. You don't really need a guide but they will misinform you of the circumstances. Overall we were pleased with the staff, environment and facilities. We would stay there again.

The hotel is gorgeous and very convenient to visit the Tikal and Uaxactun ruins. The public areas such as the lobby and restaurants are gorgeous. The rooms are nice but the only down side is the heat because the do not have AC and the ceiling fan isn’t of much help. Other than the heat, the hotel is a dream.

Very good experience (in the middle of a jungle!)

Fun experience. The food was ok and could be improved, but certainly palatable especially given we are 30 minutes from any real civilization. The only negative was the WiFi, or lack there of. Its only available in the hotel lobby. Not very convenient or comfortable when 15 guests are all congregating in one area with the same goal in mind. Loved our suite. Loved the outdoor shower. The hot tub should be turned down 5C, it is insanely hot and not a consideration for use even at night because of its high temperature. There is no air conditioning on the premises (you are truly in a jungle and power is from on-site generators, so it is 100% understandable), but the ceiling fan going at night (please know that, not all rooms have one that works at night) was able to keep me cool. Very good experience overall. Service was excellent. Everyone was helpful and outgoing. I would gladly return. I did like their sister hotel in Flores (La Isla de Flores) better.
