Much improved.
I stayed here a few months ago and the room was a bit limited. This time I paid an additional €3 a night and got a very nice room. The location is very good and it is easy to find. The building was spruced up as well. There was a lot of work needed on the public areas around the front door and, indeed, the door itself, and this has now been done. The only drawback is the lack of any common area to sit. I needed to wait for a couple of hours before a train and had to sit in the hallway. Not massively uncomfortable but would have been better if there had been a lobby area. Would stay again.

Nice handy place to stay in Lviv
This was my third stay in Danylo Inn. The location is good and it is easy to find. Staff are polite but, apart from check in and out, there was no contact with them. Room only is fine as there are lots of places to eat close by. Downside is there is no lift so if you don't like climbing stairs it isn't for you. Your room could be three or four storeys up. I like it and think price is ok.
