Drove up to LA for Tedz Fest and just needed somewhere to stay for the night. It wasn’t a terrible place but I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and there was a huge roach on the wall; at that moment I woke my boyfriend up and we checked out. If you’re looking for somewhere quick for a few hours of rest, this is meh, but definitely not for anything more!

The internet connection did not work, too few parking spaces at night, and the building was very noisy. Also, the floor was dirty and the bed was very lumpy. The topper was the homeless lady in the courtyard screaming at everyone.

The people and the landscaping and the fact a gas station is across the street and the fact we could buy yummy mexican food around the corner. The vending and ice machine didn't work though. Probably temporary.

Honestly, this place is great to stay at for a night if you're looking for something inexpensive. It was convenient for us because it was super close to the place we needed to be at in the morning. I would recommend you make a reservation before hand because when we got there they had a "No Vacancy" sign up. Keep in mind that the rooms looked clean, but when I took my shoes off the floor felt super greasy and when I went to wash my feet, they were so dirty. One thing I liked was that they gave us the option to leave the $50 deposit in cash or card. We did cash and got it right back in the morning. Parking is available at no cost, which is really nice in LA. The guy at the front window was super friendly, although I had a hard time hearing him from the other side of the glass. Overall, I would consider staying here again for a single night if I was ever back in the area.

Not a bad motel. Room was clean and spacious. Area is a little dodgy if I’m honest (especially towards Westlake) but certainly not the hotel’s fault, and it is conveniently located for DTLA and for getting around via I-10 and 110.
