Joud Residence

I couldn’t stay there. It was the worst room I’d ever seen. It was dirty, stains everywhere, gnats flying around in the bathroom. Smelled like weed. They didn’t even have any toilet paper in the room. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I went right back downstairs, got my money back and went around the corner to a real hotel.

The room was disgusting. Sheets very unclean. Floors, walls, vents and bed were dirty and not wiped down.

The service was inconvenient. The entire thing has a pretty bad smell. We weren’t sure the place was even cleaned prior to our arrival. They provide spatulas and pots but there is only a microwave. The only plus was the beds were comfortable.

Residence was not well-maintained. The carpets did not seem particularly cleaned and there were stains on tiles in the bathroom. Additionally, the couch in the living room was very low quality, with cushions not fitting properly; I felt like I was leaning when I was sitting in it. That said, the front desk staff was helpful, the check-in and check-out process was easy, and it was nice having a key fab for security.

Didn’t like that the bedroom was lite up during the due due to no curtains. Did like All the kitchenware

In a center location, walkable to many restaurants and bars.

I didn’t like anything this property looks NOTHING like what is pictured! Furniture is old I mean paint chipping,headboard peeling old. The sofa bed isn’t a sofa bed instead it’s two couch cushions you push together and make a make shift bed. So much for the stovetop listed ha more like a warmer. No washcloths were left instead of washcloth they substituted hand towels and towels. Just awful!

Desk staff and manager were polite and handled a belligerent guest fairly well. I don’t know the whole situation but I think they could have been more accommodating. Room was stained everywhere: rugs, shades etc. the place run down big time. Horrible cover up disinfectant smell. Hair interwoven in towels and shampoo was open and had been there through several guests. I recommend staying at the Arc for the same price and clean rooms instead.

Cockroaches in the bed! I left after only 1 hour! I tried to contact management and they would not return my calls or emails.
