We booked our stay in September 2015 for December 2015. We booked a double room with a double bed. However, on arrival we were given a hotel room with twin beds. We asked to be moved and had to wait until the next day and move to a room with a double bed.
On arrival at our room, we found litter scattered outside the entrance door. We reported this to reception, but the litter was never cleaned up. We reported a faulty outside light on arrival to reception, but the light was not fixed during our four night stay.
The meals at the hotel are exceptional, but the poorly trained serving staff spoilt our experience. The staff also seem harassed, confused and unsupervised most of the time.
On checking out, we found the administration in reception to not be that efficient. We paid our deposit in September and paid the balance a week before our arrival. On checking out, the reception staff asked us to pay the balance of our accommodation again! It seems that the processes in place are not that efficient and again, staff seemed confused.
