Within a 20 minute walk from the center. Since Cefalu is closed for traffic it is convenient to leave the car at the hotel. Apartments are nice and spacious, beds are good. A decent private beach. Good breakfast, except for the capuchino that the automatic machine delivers. Would be nice to get the real thing instead.

The view is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly - especially Fabio and Rosario. The rooms and bathrooms are large. The private beach with lounges, kayaks, etc was awesome and the breakfast was fantastic. I can’t wait to return.

Nice Property - Loads of Stairs
The Blue Bay is a lovely property with a private bay about a 20-minute walk uphill from Cefalú town center. Each unit is equipped with a small kitchenette and private patio overlooking the (rocky) beach below, and AC is also available. Note - this is more of a vacation rental property, NOT a hotel. Check-in takes place in the parking lot area and there is a small bar adjacent with oftentimes only one person overseeing both. Breakfast is served from 8-10am, but there are otherwise no other hotel "amenities" (restaurant or otherwise) to speak of besides housekeeping so make sure you plan ahead and load up on groceries/water/etc accordingly as needed. The beach bar I had read about in reviews is closed for the season. There is no elevator, only stairs (great workout!), so I would definitely take this into account if you are considering staying here. Make sure you request beach towels at check-in because otherwise you will be left to climb some 200 steps from the beach if you forget to do so beforehand. Overall nice property if here for an extended stay with family. For shorter stays or smaller groups, I would suggest a hotel more centrally located.

Accommodation was very good and clean. staff were pleasant and in the main helpful. We found it a little bit to quiet and lacking atmosphere. The view and the private beach is fantastic. Beach bar would cheer it up.
