This is a great place to stay, especially if you are travelling (right off the highway.) I stayed one night with my dog and would definitely stay again - fantastic service, good sized and clean room!

Nice place to stop
Good spot to stop. Friendly service, clean rooms and a great area for dogs in the back. The indoor pool was enjoyed by the kids. Some weird water pipe noises from the neighbour taking a shower, but other than that, worth the stop-over on our long drive home.

Awesome hospitality and perfect stop over spot coming east or going out west. Done both. Got caught in a snow storm heading back west and bunkered down at the Ambassador. Thank goodness! Appreciate the wisdom and advice to ride out the weather, the help with getting me unstuck in the snow and the recommendations for Sault Ste Marie’s best kept secret with authentic local Italian cuisine.

The owner welcomed me after midnight with a smile. I managed to lock myself out of the room at 12:30 AM going to get something from my car and he a was very kind and pleasant giving me another key!! The hotel is right on the highway just on the edge of town. Very convenient for those not wanting to spend time driving around town.
