Hôtel Jeanne d'Arc Le Marais
Romantic hotel
Charming small hotel. The building is over 300 years old so isn’t super accessible (the elevator stops at landings on the staircase a few steps short of each floor) but is very cute and the rooms fit the bill for a romantic getaway. Breakfast at just €8 per person was substantial and good value. The area is gorgeous.

Very helpful and friendly reception staff :) The area is idyllic and the epitome of Parisian. Hotel renovations currently happening so difficult to open windows for fresh air. And Wifi can be sporadic.

We stayed at Hotel Jeanne D’Arc for six nights, and it was a wonderful place to call home in Paris! The room was comfortable, the breakfasts were great, and the staff was helpful. One particular staff member went out of his way to help us, guiding us to a place to buy hiking shoes and sending postcards for us! The hotel is around the corner from a beautiful square with numerous restaurants, and easy walking distance to the Picasso and Pompidou museums.

Great hotel for a short stay & solo travellers
The hotel is conventiently located in the heart of Le Marais, near St Paul, surrounded by wonderful boutiques and cafes. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and gave me some good restaurant recommendations. The hotel is clean, warm and quaint and the room - while small - is comfortable and stylishly furnished. There's also a nice lounge area on the main floor with complimentary snacks, tea and coffee which many people took advantage of to sit and plan their itineraries or simply read. A few things let it down slightly: - I was only there for 1 day, yet the very narrow hallway was blocked by the cleaning staff (buckets, garbage bags etc) on 3 occasions. I could hardly move my bags through and even when they saw me struggling, they continued to chat amongst themselves and didn't attempt to tidy up their things in order to clear a path. - The lack of AC wasn't a problem for the temperature in May, but the room did get stuffy. Yet I couldn't open my window for air circulation since it opened out into a dirty, dark airway in the middle of the building where I could see piles of paint dust. - The toilet faces the door so closely that it's impossible for someone tall to actually use the toilet and close the door at the same time.

We checked in around 3pm and wanted to rest, but there was a lot of noise by workmen on scaffolding and cleaners in stairway. All night there was a lot of noise in stairway (doors stop no sound) and we were woken at 8am by workmen again.
