Great stay in Madrid
Dear Hotel is so well located to all of the major sites around Madrid. Just across the street from Plaza Espana - it’s easy to navigate back to whether by taxi or foot! Just a note - hotel has no ice to offer; must pay 10 euros. However there is a convenience store close by! The coffee in the room is a packet of instant. If you love coffee, pack your via Starbucks!! They just have one pillow per person but will bring you an extra if you ask! The wifi was a bit slow. It does not have an iron or a microwave in the room. It has small fridge and a water refill station at end of hallway! The room was small, but enough room for two big suitcases & 2 ppl. We had a deluxe room with tiny balcony on the 11 th floor. The shower was great and strong flow - even on a high floor. The bath towels were great & they offer a robe. The rooftop bar was great for winding down after exploring for the day. The sunset was beautiful from up there. If you want to go anywhere on the train ( Atocha station) be sure to buy ticket ahead. Trains fill up fast! Overall a great hotel, staff friendly and helpful and so easy to walk to places to explore.
