I will stay there again.
This was just a single night because I was visiting a relative. I stayed in Room %. It over looks the road out of Willington towards the A38, Despite this, I did not notice much traffic noise. The bed was comfortable and large. The shower room is large and the shower is a pleasure to use. The shower room over looks a yard at the back, a yard that leads to a private dining room. There is limited car parking at the back of the hotel. There was an awning covering part of the yard which takes away parking spaces. There is additional parking at the Dragon pub/restaurant which is where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was good. Sadly, no fried bread this time. Parking at the Dragon can be difficult because the Dragon is extremely popular. Overall I like the Cottage and I will stay there again.

The COTTAGE in the Village of Willington
Lovely setting by the Canal. The Cottage was the central hub for all the local area and particularly the THREE village pubs! Stayed for a long weekend and celebrated a 6Oth birthday party at friends who live in the village.

Five Rooms and Five Stars
Check in and out for The Cottage is at the Dragon restaurant. The breakfast is served at the Dragon, an excellent breakfast it is, especially if like me you ask for and get fried bread. The breakfast is so big that I did lunch. The room I had was perfect for my needs with its bed, television, etc. The shower room was perfect too. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The building was a cottage, so do not expect a lift because cottages do not have them. I shall definitely return.

The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Conveniently located next to the superb Dragon Pub offering delicious food and Real Ales. What more could I ask for after a hard day's work?
