Not my style
The location of the inn is superb - you can leave your car and walk to everything. However, I found my room to be musty and hot. Despite the presence of a register, no air was coming out of it and with great difficulty, I managed to open the two small windows in order to get some air in the room. It made sleeping challenging. Additionally, there was a serious wet spot at the entrance to the bathroom that never dried, and as the carpeting is a deep shag, it was kind of gross to step in initially (that’s how I discovered it - I’d removed my sandals upon getting my suitcase in the room. Kept shoes on for the remainder of time in the room). The decor overall is cluttered and makes the place seem very dated. The pillows were flat and old and in need of replacement and the shower curtain liner was dirty. As I was only staying for an extremely brief time (16 hour total stay), I didn’t bother asking management for a fan, or to dry the carpet, or for better pillows. The inn served its purpose but it wasn’t great and it was sort of expensive.

My wife and I enjoyed the cozy and comfortable room along with the "being at grandmas house" atmosphere. The location is excellent and the on site parking is a plus. Park the car and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Fascinating and fun B and B with great perks!
Lots of perks, from the great vintage decor and collectibles everywhere, to eclectic comfy rooms with space to move about, and a terrific deck to hang out on day or night. Plus tons of packaged snacks, sodas, water, coffee, cakes and a fruit bowl day or night, all FREE, and a really terrific self-serve plus hit dish breakfast. Pat and Bob are amazing and experienced hosts and lovely people, and were always helpful to us and others. Only cautions are that negotiating the parking, while free and right next to the building, can be tight, and particularly tricky if you’re last in. Plus the housekeeping seems rather.... casual. Kinda look like home when I haven’t cleaned for a few days. Nonetheless, an amazing find especially for those who enjoy the eclectic and unusual, and how appreciate all things pop culture.

Great two-day getaway in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Went to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a little two night getaway during the Summer Music Festival. Stayed at Ann Arbor Bed & Breakfast Inn at 921 E Huron Street. What a treat. Very ecletic. Place is filled with memorabilia and antiques including many, many antique toys. We stayed in the Jamboree suite which included a small, but full kitchenette and its own private patio with lot of flowers and greenery and chipmunks scurrying around. The second floor balcony/porch off the breakfast room was absolutely lovely, again with lots of flowers and plants plus lots of colourful wind spinners, wind socks and metal sculptures and twinkling coloured lights in the evening hours. The staff were super, and very accommodating. Breakfast was great – juice, coffee and tea, homemade goodies, cereal, several types of bread for toasting, variety of jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, etc, plus eggs and bacon if requested. Best homemade banana bread I have ever eaten. B & B location was perfect – close to the University of Michigan, the Arboretum with lots of walking trails, and the downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. One of the outdoor music venues was just a two minute walk from the B & B front door. We walked everywhere and didn’t drive our vehicle once during our stay. All in all, a great mini-vacation.

Great stay overall
It is what it describes itself to be. Tight parking and easy to miss (we had to drive around the block, which wasn’t a huge deal). Comfy bed, somewhat rustic feel, but that’s why it is the way it is! Breakfast in the morning included eggs and small items, which was terrific. We didn’t take advantage of the snacks and drinks that often, but always out and available which is pretty cool. Great stay overall!

Used to be better
Smaller room, bigger bed--very cozy. Nicely appointed, but the DVD player did not work. Also some lights burned out (or couldn't find the switch). Breakfast was a nicely prepared and picturesque vegetarian meal. Could have used some kind of protein with that. Location is great to U of M and downtown.

Pleasant Stay
I had a very nice stay at AABB. Pat was very welcoming when I arrived and my room was quite comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning and the food looked yummy! (I’m vegan so I didn’t eat the main dish, but everyone seemed to love it). There are snacks, drinks, coffee available 24/7 and I will definitely stay here again. The price was fair and the stay quite nice.

Great stay, great location
Everything about the Ann Arbor B&B was wonderful - the innkeepers Pat and Bob were warm and welcoming, our room was spacious and immaculate, the breakfasts were delicious with lots of choices, and the location was perfect (right near campus and within easy walking distance of downtown and Kerrytown). We’ll definitely return!!

Ann Arbor B & B -- Be sure to check in before 10pm
Room was very nice. Check in time ended at 10 pm which was difficult for us being at a family wedding. Had to drill down deep into the formal website to find this check in. Not highlighted at all in the booking page. Was a bit disappointed in the food choices relative to the price of the room.
