Likes: Lovely and clean room; Powerful shower; toiletries provided each day; comfy bed; staff were very friendly and helpful; good variety of choice at breakfast; 2 bottles of water provided. Dislikes: no comfortable chair; no tea making facilities; WiFi kept shutting off; no restaurant

The hotel is right in the old section of Chania- walk out the door and you're on a cobblestone street within steps of cafes, restaurants and shops.

We were given a suite on the top (5th) floor looking out on Chania harbour, probably the best rooms in the hotel. The rooms were spotless and toiletries replenished every day.

Good property in a great location. Plentiful breakfast (which was included for my booking) and very helpful staff. Having stayed at another of Elia's other properties in Chania earlier in the year, I would say I prefer the company's apartment-style suites (the Daliani is the one I was in) to the Betolo, but that's only because I like the illusion of seemingly coming home to an apartment rather than the reality of coming back to a hotel room at the end of a day of sightseeing. The staff are super helpful at the front desk. Every time I had a question, they either had or would find an answer. This was one advantage of staying at the main hotel property.

Very helpful staff, excellent location and big comfortable room with nice and clean bathroom. Only thing missing was a stand for the suitcase.
