Good, but so tiny.
Tiny, tiny but comfortable room. Bed fills most of the room. If you brought a lot of luggage, you'll be challenged to stow it. Check in was odd, you must pay in cash into a machine. If you don't already have enough yen, they have currency exchange machines, but the rate is bad. Instead, walk out the front and turn right on the 2nd little street, then down maybe 100 meters or so is the most favorable exchange booth. I could have saved nearly $100 on my 1 week stay had I done so. There's an onsen public bath on the top floor.

Everything is good except the quality of the bed. Maybe it is low quality and not stiff

Great location!
Great location with so much to do just steps outside the hotel. The bathrooms could be better. It had an odor of mold/mildew.

What the unhappy stay
This is my worst experience in traveling to Japan and I still don't understand why it would happen in such big chain hotel. I stayed in APA for 3 night this time. Since I needed to leave the town between the stay, I requested for just one over night luggage storage but the hotel refused to help so I had to rush out for the storage in the last minute. I guess everyone would understand how bad it can be. Remember, I was still the hotel's customer as I would return for the remaining stay. Honestly, I have visited Japan many more times and I m sure most hotels can provide such simple services except APA.
