Wonderful service but faded glory
I have very mixed feelings about the hotel. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure all members of staff were wonderful, absolutely first class. The location is superb and the breakfast buffet is very good. However, in this day and age you cannot really say this is a 5***** hotel. The rooms are quite tired, still using old fashioned metal keys with bulky tags. The pool towels were stained and a frayed, the decking around the pool was warped and coming apart. The various outside ocean facing “sun beds” were in a sorry state, holes in the covers etc. It really is a pity as the hotel could be so amazing, but really needs a refurbishment and just care taken in public areas.
