The customer service was extremely accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and clean. I’d definitely come back and stay here. Great area in DC too!

Trendy AND friendly. Great lobby Barr/cafe. Big room for a boutique hotel

Good 6.0
We had a one night stay at the line. The location is fantastic. However, they are a little too relaxed. We got there way after check in time and had to wait for a room. We then went to the downstairs restaurant for dinner/drinks and had to wait for 30 minutes before someone came to our table. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel as well and I informed the waiter of allergies - he did not let the kitchen staff know and I ended up having an allergic reaction. While the hotel is super hip, in a great location and pretty inside - the staff is very relaxed.

Looks great, but noisy
The public areas of the hotel--the bars and restaurants--are absolutely stunning, and well worth a visit. The guest rooms look great, but the soundproofing is terrible. I was awakened twice during the night by people having regular conversations in the hallway outside my room, and in the morning by the shower in the room next to mine. Combined with a thermostat that seemed to not respond to attempts to cool down the room, it was not a great night of sleep. But the aesthetic touches are outstanding.
