Living for the look, luxury, and libations
We’re completely smitten with this stylish boutique hotel. Everything is so well done and UX-thoughtful, not the shoddy, cut-corner construction of most hotels. We’ve spent most of our time in room dreaming that this human-centered, funtional, and aesthetically delightful design was our own home. A trip to the roof top will delight you. Panoramic views, eclectic plant-forward environs, and delicious cocktails served by pleasant people. Do NOT miss reservations at Brothers & Sisters, a menu we did not understand and did not care; we were gladly taken on a culinary adventure unique to even DC. Dog friendly, people friendly, stunning and quirky at the same time, the Line is our new favorite hotel.

Great property, eclectic and boutique-ish, very clean and comfortable with an excellent and polite staff. The restaurant on site has an incredibly delicious fare, you will not be disappointed.

We have visited DC several times - We loved the hotel - such a great vibe and comfortable space in communal areas . Room was great . Service not so great at brothers and sisters restaurant but think it was more a kitchen problem . i would definitely stay here again

Wish I could’ve spent more time there
Great atmosphere with the comfiest bed and bed linens for a good nights sleep. The restaurant was a little disappointing, but that may have been just that dish. Coffee could have been better from the kiosk at the front, but staff and level of service was excellent.

The room with a view of a brick wall, cost extra.
The staff at check in and valet were very personable and professional. The resturant staff in all three were arrogant, haughty, snobs with the exception of Paul who was the bartender at A Rakes Progress. I paid extra for a room with a view, the view was that of a brick wall. I paid $460 for the night on the room and valet an additional $300 for meals and drinks. At this price I would expect the staff to be a lot more welcoming and far less condescending.

Great location, cool vibe, amazing beds
Very cool ambiance with great lounge bars and hip vibe. Love the location and proximity to other good restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and well-appointed (mini bar included coffee maker, but no cups/mugs) with nice city views. The bed was extremely comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the phone to the concierge line -- I tried several times to be connected with the front desk and could never get an answer. My partner had to go downstairs in person to request a hairdryer (missing from room) and explain about the phones, but the issue was never resolved. Not a a big deal as the overall stay was extremely pleasant, but not quite the level of service expected at a 5 star property.
