I really love the place, it's big and it's clean. And the amenties are very nice. Also…
This is a property or hotel lacking leadership. I has the potential to be a four stars…

Pros view is great staff is helpful and courteous the size of the room is just right breakfast buffet is a plus but the food is cold Cons -the room smells -towels are VERY OLD -the bed is made of box spring and thin foam on top equals hard and feels weird. -the bathroom looks dirty and smells like urine -it’s very noisy(room 201) -they only provide shampoo and soap for bathe
The property is real close to the parts of baguio any tourist would want to visit. Its chilly specially at the upper floors. I certainly liked the food. We lost our wallet and car keys during our stay and the staff held them in good security. I really wanted to have a more spacious bed. the beds were quite small... the cable tv needs more channels. deluxe rooms should have their ceiling fans changed. theyre more of a decor than a ceiling fan.
The place is good..
We like the view and the food but they should have a staff to assist into the room.
Positives: Price, location, lobby, room size, views, housekeeping, food prices, food quality. Needs improvement: maintenance of rooms and penthouse, front desk staff (though adequate, needs more 'can-do' helpful and pleasant attitude). The afternoon 'merienda' was an outstanding surprise with the excellent variety of offerings. We also enjoyed the evening live acoustic music. Housekeeping gets my standing ovation for helping me when I fell ill, after the front desk could offer no help. They secured and delivered my requested Gatorade, hard-boiled eggs and hot tea after the front desk said room service was not available. One other negative: the band playing and rehearsing could be heard in our rooms.
Great place to stay, when tou visit Baguio. Surely will stay here again.
I specifically love the view and the hotel's interior! What I'm not pleased about is that no one's answering the phone when I was trying to call them. The cp number they also gave wasn't unreachable. But overLall, I enjoyed my stay. I just hope they would improve more on the communication thing. Another thing, the view on the top floor where breakfast was served was awesome! I love the view and the food!
Stayed at Citylight Hotel from Jan 16-18. My fourth time here. Pleasantly surprised that there’s soothing live music at the lobby
Almost an hour before we could check-in. They make you wait before you can just ask a question. I was trying to ask what is the earliest check-in time twice. The staff made me sit first. Finally on the third time I went to the reception, I asked again and they said they are waiting for rooms to vacate before they can give rooms. If they had answered my question earlier I would have went out first before checking in. Waste of time. This happened also last month when I wanted to have an early check-in. I inquired again in reception and check what is the earliest "early check-in" time. They said 6am. I was there around 3am. So I waited in the lobby. When its already 6am, the staff (same guy who said 6am is the earliest) (also same guy that made me wait on this recent trip), said that there are no vacant rooms. Why not inform me the first time I inquired that the hotel is fully booked? He can also clearly see me in front of him waiting for 6am! I always book in Citylight and never had problems with communication with staff. Until this new guy has been hired! Really been disappointed recently.
